The STYROBLOCK is an interlocking hollow building module of expanded polystyrene (EPS). During construction the EPS module serves as permanent shuttering by either filling it with a sand-cement mix or concrete, and afterwards provide permanent insulation to the structure. The walls are plastered with 15-20mm sand-cement plaster both internally and externally.
Labor cost (involvement of unskilled labor), logistics (transport and loading) and energy cost savings (insulation of the building) are crucial advantages that should be taken into account on your total cost of the structure.
Raw material, which includes a flame-retardant additive that distinctly reduces ignition and flame propagation, is being used. They achieve the best possible classification for combustible construction materials specified by various national building regulations.
There are no constraints regarding the external dimensions of buildings. The multiplicity of castellations gives the system exceptional lateral flexibility and will always ensure perfect vertical interlocking of male and female castellations.
